September was a very busy month, between our 4th Annual US Wealth Jimmy Fund Golf outing, several birthday celebrations, a
family wedding, babies arriving, BBQ’s, and other commitments, I feel as though I went to sleep one night in August and autumn-matically woke up in October, September flew by that fast. The only proof I really have that September occurred at all are the actual photos on my phone with me in them, about 30 ‘free hash brown’ peel off tickets from my Dunkin’ coffees and a bridesmaid dress.
Now, thankfully, things have slowed down for the time being, and most weekends are structured around the Patriot’s game time which, I wouldn’t have any other (albeit, stressful) way. It’s amazing that when fall arrives on the calendar, my dinner vegetables are all autumn-magically the color orange, honey crisp apples are all the rage and my avoidance of pumpkin spice anything and everything is in full force.
In this slower paced October I plan to enjoy several weekends on Cape Cod- spending as much time outdoors as possible during the day, hiking, walking the beach, checking out antique shops and watching a great show at night with some hot cider. As a side note- if you are looking for a new tv show to watch- check out: The Crown (Netflix), Slingshot (a documentary on Amazon), or if you enjoy comedy, Sebastian Maniscalco (Netflix) has three specials that have left me in tears from laughing.
Here’s to hoping your fall is enjoyable, warm and relaxing!
