Jenn got married!

I have officially entered wife life, a club that I have been not so subtly trying to join for the last 3 years (I used to email John wedding rings). John and I got married on August 28.

It was the most wonderful day, and it went by so fast, I hardly remember a thing! While Covid-19 forced us to change our plans countless times, it did not ruin our special day one bit.

We changed our original reception location to The Winsor House Inn in Duxbury, and they truly gave us the wedding of our dreams. The food and service were second to none; it hardly seemed like a Covid wedding (don't worry, every single person and staff member followed all of the guidelines). We had great food and drinks, a bonfire, ice cream sundaes from my beloved Farfar's Ice Cream, and great company.

The best part was that we were able to spend time with our families and friends who we haven't been able to see at the same time and place since before Covid-19 began. Never in my life would I think my wedding would have been the social event of the summer, but it appears it was. Everyone was so excited to be there and do something 'normal' in the wake of the pandemic.

I will be changing my last name eventually, which will be Elstermeyer (pronounced L-STIR- MY- ER). Somehow, it's more of a mouthful than Kovalski.

I am thrilled to be done with wedding planning, particularly 'Covid wedding planning'. However, if you know a couple planning a wedding, call me! I have learned a lot, and can help!

Below are a few pictures from our special day...
