Only one thing is guaranteed in life (besides death and taxes)Submitted by US Wealth Napolitano on November 14th, 2018

That guarantee is change and the lack of certainty. Things will change in every part of your life - forever. Change can be unsettling, even downright frightful for sure but it is one of the few things in life that you can count on. Like anyone else, I’ve experienced changes that have impacted me and those I care about both negatively and positively. I feel that change is an opportunity to take a fresh look at any situation, and use your intuition and wisdom to make it work. From my perspective, life must be difficult for those who cannot embrace change.
So far, 2018 has brought many changes, both personally and professionally. For me… it has brought our first Grandchild. Beautiful little Ellie is now approaching 7 months old and I think she may even know who I am! She definitely knows Joan who has the privilege of spending two days a week with her.
We finally moved into a new house. After 12 months of chasing contractors, we are in with all systems go. We warn clients each day that downsizing does not always equate to “down pricing”, and Joan and I are now living examples of that wisdom.
On the last day of the year, we add a daughter-in-law to the family. Lovely Jenna and our son Rob will tie the knot on New Year’s Eve in downtown Boston. This will be an especially festive evening surrounded by friends and family in one of the coolest places on one of the best nights that our city has to offer.
Professionally we had a terrific year serving what I’d call the best clientele on earth. And that, you should take personally. You may know that we have a no jerk rule around here - we refuse to work with people who are unreasonable or simply not fun to be around. That is by design and has made for a truly fantastic professional experience for us and our clients.
Fortunately, 2018 hasn’t brought any frightful change for us… but that just means that we should be on guard for 2019 as we all know that some changes can be stressful. As changes do occur in your world, embrace the positive as it will help you when it comes to dealing with the negative. And for those who rely on us to guide the financial side of your life, please let us know as soon as you anticipate or realize any type of change.
