We just celebrated the 21st Christmas at the home we built in 1996.  This was the Grand Finale in the family homestead in that on January 13, 2017 a new owner will occupy the Gray House at the end of the street. A Tale of Two Gardens

Last weekend I took a chance and planted the annual hot pepper and herb garden before the frost siren has been put away for the season.  Most seasoned gardeners will tell you that Memorial Day is the unofficial end of frost season.  But I’ve gambled the last several years by sneaking a few extra weeks of spring rain and warmth on the seedlings and won, so maybe I’m lucky or global climate change is for real.  After last year’s bountiful harvest, I’m hoping that the weather and infestation Gods are with me to deliver another year of good eats from the Nap yard.
